Provost calls Day of Prayer
The Provost has called a day of prayer for the Diocese, to be held on Friday 16 February at St Andrew’s Cathedral. Isaac writes:
As we move towards the day of the Consecration and Enthronement of Anne Dyer as our next Bishop and as the custodian of your Cathedral, I feel moved to call our diocese to a day of prayer in the Cathedral.
The day will commence with Morning Prayers at 8.30am and end with Evening Prayers at 5pm. There will be refreshments in the John Skinner Centre should people wish to share a drink. We are a people of prayer. We pride ourselves in our liturgies and spirit led prayer gatherings. If people are moved by the Spirit to speak in the course of the day, there will be opportunity do so. We do not intend to have conversations or debates but simply to pray in silence or aloud and share in any utterance.
All are welcome to attend for all or part of the day.
