The Diocese of Aberdeen and Orkney is one of seven dioceses of the Scottish Episcopal Church. The Scottish Episcopal Church is a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion – a family of churches in more than 165 countries.
Geographically the diocese covers the City of Aberdeen, most of Aberdeenshire, a small part of Moray and the Northern Isles of Orkney and Shetland. The Diocese has 41 churches across the whole area and in some very beautiful settings.

St Clement’s Episcopal Church
Did you know that St Clement’s used to be down at the harbour in Aberdeen? Well, St Clement’s Episcopal Church in Aberdeen has its own unique history deeply rooted in the city’s religious heritage. St. Clement’s was founded in 1871 to serve the Episcopal community in Aberdeen City, which sought a place of worship aligned with their Anglican faith. The church was initially located on St Clement’s Street before moving to its current site on Mastrick Drive in the Mastrick area of Aberdeen in 1970.
