Diocesan Newsletter – 11 November 2022

The latest edition of the Aberdeen & Orkney Newsletter has been published, featuring news updates from around the Diocese.

Acting Bishop John Armes provides another message following his recent, in which he underlines the importance of treating each other with kindness and respect during difficult times in the Diocese.

Bishop John also gives thanks to those who are providing support during the cost of living crisis, and the Newsletter features one such example – the ‘Jacket Potato Appeal’ at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral in Aberdeen, where coats and other warm clothing are being collected to provide to those in need in the local community – along with a baked potato and hot drink – at an event being held on 10 December,

There is a homecoming welcome to Brenda Dowie, the new Priest-in-Charge for St Mary’s Stromness, an updates on the recent All Saints Holiday Club, and a request for location ideas for next summer’s Diocesan Get Togethers.
