The Provincial Environment Group is excited to announce that the draft of the Net Zero Action Plan (2023-2030) is now available for review and comment as part of the ongoing consultation process. Achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2030 is our collective goal, and your input is crucial in helping the province develop a plan that will help us get there.
You can access the document via the consultation webpage, and you are encouraged to take the time to read the draft Net Zero Action Plan and provide your valuable feedback. Please note, this is not an introductory document to Net Zero – if you wish to start the journey in your church, please download the Net Zero Toolkit.
If you missed the launch of the Net Zero Action Plan or want to review it again, you can watch it here.
A second online consultation webinar will take place on Thursday 9 March 9th, from 11.30am to 1pm. Please register to join. This is an excellent opportunity for you to learn more about the draft Net Zero Action Plan and to voice any questions you may have. Please note that this webinar will cover the same content as first webinar given on Tuesday 21 February.
If you have any questions about the consultation process, please visit this page for an overview. You are encouraged to explore the page to find out more about the consultation process and how your feedback will be used.
Thank you for your commitment to reducing carbon emissions, and for taking the time to review and provide feedback on the Net Zero Action Plan (2023-2030) as we work together to achieve the shared goal of a sustainable future.
