The Diocese is reflecting theologically on environmental issues this year through the Christian Life project “All Creation Waits…” (funded by a grant from the Benefact Trust). To continue these reflections, a reflection activity will be posted each day (in the Food for Thought section of this website).
Each week, the whole week’s material will be posted at the beginning – the reflections and activities can be done in any order you choose. There are activities outside – the weather may impact when you do them!
esus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.” – Matthew 13:31-32
Day 7: Reflect on Matthew 13: 31-32 (the Parable of the Mustard Seed).
What might be represented by the birds that come and perch in the branches of the Kingdom of Heaven?
