The Diocese is reflecting theologically on environmental issues this year through the Christian Life project “All Creation Waits…” (funded by a grant from the Benefact Trust). To continue these reflections, a reflection activity will be posted each day (in the Food for Thought section of this website).
Each week, the whole week’s material will be posted at the beginning – the reflections and activities can be done in any order you choose. There are activities outside – the weather may impact when you do them!
Spirit of God, unseen as the wind,
gentle as is the dove;
teach us the truth and help us believe,
show us the Saviour’s love!

Day 5: The Hebrew and Greek words for Spirit (Ruach and Pneuma) both translate to breath or wind.
How regularly do you pause to let God breathe new life, patience, and grace into your spirit?
What are some ways we can’t see the wind but can see the effects, e.g. leaves swirling.
