The Diocese is reflecting theologically on environmental issues this year through the Christian Life project “All Creation Waits…” (funded by a grant from the Benefact Trust). To continue these reflections, a reflection activity will be posted each day (in the Food for Thought section of this website).
Each week, the whole week’s material will be posted at the beginning – the reflections and activities can be done in any order you choose. There are activities outside – the weather may impact when you do them!
There are places in Wales I don’t go:
Reservoirs that are the subconscious
Of a people, troubled far down
With gravestones, chapels, villages even;
The serenity of their expression
Revolts me, it is a pose – From Reservoirs by R.S. Thomas
Day 5: The land around us is used for many things and boundaries are disputed. There are places in the world where land is taken unfairly.
Today you’re invited to reflect on these places and situations and offer them to God in prayer.
