Photos: Launch of the Aberdeen Centre of Mission

The Aberdeen City Centre of Mission, a joint initiative between the Diocese and the Church Army was launched with a worship gathering yesterday evening.  The Rev’d Canon Gerry Bowyer CA was licensed as the lead evangelist and Jo Bowyer was licensed as a Team Evangelist.  Vee Pinto was licensed as a Pioneer Evangelist for the Centre of Mission in November 2018.

The Centre will be resourced from three locations:

  • St Devenick’s Church in Bieldside, where Gerry is Rector
  • The Caf4e Community in Bridge of Don
  • [email protected] in the City Centre.

 

Worship was led by the Rev’d Canon Gerry Bowyer CA.

Gerry Bowyer is licensed as the Lead Evangelist for the Centre of Mission and Jo Bowyer licensed as an Evangelist within the team. Venessa Pinto was licensed as the Pioneer Evangelist in November 2018.
