‘Lifting our souls, Trusting in God is the Diocese of Aberdeen and Orkney’s Lent and Easter Course for 2026. From Ash Wednesday (18 February) to Trinity Sunday (24 May) there will be daily posts on the website.
Today is Good Friday, the Collect is Almighty God, look graciously, we pray, on this your family, for whom our Lord Jesus Christ was willing to be betrayed and given into the hands of sinners, and to suffer death upon the cross; who now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Today’s reflection asks about your reactions to the Gospel of the Passion. The materials for reflection are on the last two pages with the readings for the day before them.
The material can be read and/or downloaded below.
