We are holding an open day so that friends and associates in the Diocese and beyond can pay a visit to our new offices.
When: Friday, 30th January, 11 AM – 3 PM
Where: Diocesan Centre, 66 Carden Place, Aberdeen, AB10 1UL
The Diocese has purchased new office facilities, a base for the administrative and pastoral work of the Diocese.
The timetable for the day is:
- 11 AM: Eucharist – Thanksgiving & blessing for the new facilities.
- 11.30 AM: Coffee.
- 1 PM: Soup Lunch.
- 3 PM: End.
All are very welcome.

Directions to the Diocesan Centre: The Diocesan Centre is located on Carden Place in the West End of Aberdeen. It is located at the junction of Carden Place and Blenheim Place, with access to car parking at the rear via Albert Lane.
The address is 66 Carden Place, Aberdeen, AB10 1UL.
The Centre is next to a branch of the Leeds Building Society and across Carden Place from Fountain Hall at the Cross Church of Scotland (formerly known as Queen’s Cross).
The Diocesan Centre is less than a 10-minute walk west from St Mary’s Carden Place.
Public Transport: The Diocesan Office is served by buses operated by First Bus and Stagecoach. Buses 5, 6, 11, and 13 stop on Albyn Place, on the other side of the church, at Carden Place.
It is less than a 10-minute walk to Carden Place (Bus 23) and St Swithin Street (Bus 15). ·It is around a 15-minute walk from the junction of Union Street and Holburn Street.
Car Parking: There is car parking for those visiting the Diocesan Office (seven spaces, first-come, first-served). The car park is at the rear of the building, accessed from Albert Lane.
In the area, Pay and Display street parking is available Monday – Saturday, with restrictions applying for the period 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on Carden Place and a maximum stay of three hours. There are very few meters where you can pay on the street.
Free street parking is available within a 10-minute walk from the Diocesan Office on St Swithin Street, Gladstone Place, Stanley Street, Devonshire Road, Albyn Lane (25 and upwards), and Union Grove (137 and upwards).
