Today is Ascension Day – 40 days after the resurrection of Jesus we remember his Ascension, return to Heaven. Today along with contemplative practices – Credo cards on this website, the reading and collect for Ascension are offered for reflection.
Traditionally the time between Ascension and Pentecost was a time of prayer – hence this is the time that the international and ecumenical Thy Kingdom Come ten days takes place. You’re asked to pray for five people to know Jesus more. This will be this week’s action, explored a little more tomorrow.
