As we enter Holy Week the format of Ashes to Fire: A Journey from Lent to Pentecost changes. Each day the Gospel Reading for the Daily Eucharist will be offered, along with a short reflection and resources from the arts and/or words from others.
Today the Gospel reading is the Crucifixion of Jesus.
The Collect for today is: Almighty Father, look with mercy on this your family: for which our Lord Jesus Christ was willing to be betrayed, given up into the hands of sinners, and to suffer death upon the cross; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. Amen.
