Today is the fourth Sunday in Lent, in our Lent to Pentecost course we read the Revised Common Lectionary scripture appointed for this day: Joshua 5:9-12, Psalm 32, 2 Corinthians 5:16-21, and Luke 15:1-3, 11b-32 (The Prodigal Son). These are the readings for the Fourth Sunday of Lent, there are options for Mothering Sunday readings in the Lectionary so these may be different to those you hear in church.
The Collect for today is Almighty God, grant that we, who are weighed down by our sins, may be relieved and encouraged by your grace; through Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. Amen.
