St Margaret’s Church, Aberdeen celebrate 150 year Anniversary

St Margaret’s Church, Aberdeen celebrated their 150 year Anniversary on Sunday 8 October.  The church was founded by John Comper as a Mission Church out of St John’s Church, Aberdeen.

The celebrations took place in three parts:

  • Parish Mass followed by a shared lunch.
  • Procession from St John’s Church to St Margaret’s Church, via St Nicholas Kirk in recognition that St John’s was founded out of the Kirk.
  • Solemn Evensong sung by the Cathedral Choir.
